Use of Force

A public record

What happened, and what happened after.

This record documents force used by U.S. immigration enforcement — ICE, Border Patrol, and affiliated federal agents — against people in the United States. Every fact is cited to public reporting or public records. Where accounts conflict, both are shown, attributed, side by side. And each case tracks the question that reporting most often drops: did any accountability process actually engage?

As of October 2026, in none of the twenty-one cases documented here is any officer publicly known to have been criminally charged.

Methodology

This is a living document compiled from the cited sources. It is not a legal determination of any person's conduct. “No public evidence” means exactly that — no evidence in the public record as of the date noted, which is not proof that a step has not occurred. Errors reported to the maintainers will be corrected and the correction logged.
